40W Laser Module delivers superb performance with the most cutting-edge laser beam splitter and beam shaping optics. The embedded beam shapers compress the laser spot of each laser diodes. Then the splitter combines the laser beams of the eight laser diodes using the beam combining technology, resulting in a higher energy density and output power.

Control Air Assist via Luban.
When doing both engraving and cutting in one piece of work, it is not recommended to apply Air Assist on all layers. Therefore, Luban can let you enable Air Assist only on cutting layers, saving you the bother of manually turning it on or off for different layers.

We adopt industrial-grade linear rails in Artisan 3-in-1 3D Printer to ensure minimal wobble even in fast CNC machining. The very same industrial-grade linear rails are used in XY-axis of Ray to support high speed movement and long-lasting operation. Running a 40W Laser Module is easy with Ray.

Cylindrical foot can be attached to not only the machine but also the laser bed, enabling you to work with a laser job as thick as 160mm. Even thick objects like a guitar can be easily placed within for engraving.

Ray is compatible with LightBurn, one of the top laser softwares, supporting features like serial connection, movement control, and G-code generation. You can also access full sets of recommended parameters for common laser materials in LightBurn and Luban.

Laser Reduction
The Enclosure for Ray can reduce the laser hazards from Class 4 to Class 1 and provide a safe environment for your family and pets.
Dust Isolation
Cover with the Enclosure and turn on the exhaust fan to cast off all the smoke and dust. You can further connect it with our Air Purifier to filter harmful chemicals.
Door Detection
The Enclosure's door-detection sensor lets Ray automatically stop the laser job when the door is opened. And don't worry about your creation. You can resume it with just a few taps.
Safe and sound.
Overheat Protection
The module stops working automatically whenever its temperature sensor detects a higher than normal (one that exceeds 55℃/131℉) working temperature. Once the temperature falls back into the normal range, you can resume your job on the Power Module.
Laser Safety Shield
The Laser Safety Shield can reduce the laser radiation. Together with the use of the Enclosure for Ray, laser hazards can be reduced from Class 4 to Class 1.[2]
Orientation Detection
We include a gyro sensor in the module, which makes sure that no laser beam comes out if the module is incorrectly installed or deviates from its designated position.
Laser focusing made easy with quick swap.
Release the Focus Lever, loosen the toolhead with quick swap feature, move the toolhead down until the Focus Lever touches the material. In just three steps, you can easily finish the calibration.

Infrared 2W Laser Module
With a wavelength of 1064nm, the upcoming Infrared 2W Laser Module is ideal for engraving plastic and all kinds of metal.
Upcoming Rotary Module
The Rotary Headstock can be pitched upward or flipped over. Paired with different kinds of jaws and tailstocks, the upcoming Rotary Module can work on more daily life objects in the shape of ring, cone, sphere, or cylinder, etc.
Rotary Module (Harmonic Drive Version)
The Rotary Module uses strain wave gearing and packs a 100:1 speed reducer that converts the power to a lower output speed. This allows the 3-jaw chuck to rotate with a minimum angle of 0.1°. You can realize ultra-fine machining without missing any details.
